As a Product Manager in Global Investment Banking Digital (GIBD) supporting the Global Industry & Financial Sponsor coverage business, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Be an SME of Investment Banking, particularly Coverage banking with an understanding of its industry-based relationship with product bankers within M&A and Capital Markets, and be the primary point of contact for the product to business stakeholders.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to drive product adoption and satisfaction.
  • Lead product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring detailed user requirement documentation, timely delivery, and quality standards.
  • Work with Engineering, Design & Data teams to build solutions that meet business needs; ensure adaptability and scalability of solutions across regions.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offerings
  • Build a deep understanding of advanced analytics and AI capabilities that can be incorporated into product solutions to enhance and accelerate user value
  • Writes detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), epics, and user stories to support product development


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • A customer-centric mindset and experience building and delivering greenfield products end to end.
  • Product Manager background in digital platform infrastructure and modernization efforts
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and act as an effective translator between business and technology.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable product solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational planning skills to work and stay aligned with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders on strategic priorities.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects with competing priorities.
  • Bachelor's Degree


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the financial services industry, with a focus on Investment Banking
  • Strong understanding of the Investment Banking processes, financial markets, and industry regulations
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and align technical and business priorities effectively
  • Master's or Advanced Degree
