Primary Purpose
The Product Strategy & Experimentation group at Ahold Delhaize USA supports the product organization through the product lifecycle that spans the spectrum from ideation-strategizing to execution-delivery and everything in between.
The Brand Enablement team is responsible for the relationship with brand leadership, acting as an evangelist for their customer base and corporate strategy. This role will be aligned to Giant Food, and they will be responsible for supporting the brand in their effort to bring our proprietary eCommerce and Fulfillment products/capabilities to market to ensure a smooth and successful launch. This role will be a strategic conduit between ADUSA Digital and Giant Food cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, customer insights, D&A, product, technology, etc.) to ensure the platform's ongoing adoption. They will also be responsible for ensuring ADUSA Digital understands Giant Food's corporate strategy, customer user personas, operational business constraints, and market dynamics; enabling a tight, proactive feedback loop that cements customers engagement and drives growth. This role will also have program management responsibilities of large, cross-functional initiatives.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations is in ME, Hyattsville.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive corporate strategy alignment across brand and ADUSA Digital roadmap/product strategy
  • Act as a bridge between ADUSA Digital and Giant Food - ensuring capabilities that drive customer engagement and growth
  • Partner with brand to support roll out strategies for new features and capabilities on ADUSA Digital roadmap
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop product growth strategies
  • Must organize with independence, develop a strong understanding of our customers and platform, manage multiple concurrent projects, and identify and lead solutions that recognize significant business value
  • Blend strong business acumen, technical problem solving, and agile execution
  • Proactively identify issues and work with internal partners to understand options and execute solutions
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product from Giant Food.
  • This role is also expected to travel to Giant Food's store locations.
  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress/timeline
  • Managing the program's budget
  • Managing business risks and issues
  • Coordinating the project and their interdependencies
  • Managing stakeholders' communication - SteerCo meetings, program meetings, status reports, etc.
  • Defining the program governance in alignment with AD governance requirements (as applicable)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years direct experience in a digital environment in a relevant capacity
  • 5+ years overall relevant experience
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and managing iteration-level deliverables
  • Consulting or product management experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity to solve problems and drive results.
  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications (verbal and written) that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.


Salary Range: $ 115,760 - $173,640
