The Product Manager will manage the backlog and roadmap for the 340BCheck product, partner with other product managers, address customer issues, assess ROI for solutions, and drive integration initiatives with engineering teams.

The product manager will maintain a priority backlog and roadmap to support the overall product book of business, with primary focus on executing strategy for the 340BCheck product while partnering closely with product managers across KitCheck, CostCheck, and ShortageCheck to drive internal product integration initiatives.
This role will maintain priority and focus, handle customer or partner issue interruptions, and make risk-balanced recommendations to prioritize or defer interruptions. The product manager will partner closely with the growth product manager to ensure the primary revenue-generating product continues to grow, retain revenue, and keep users engaged and satisfied.
Time allocation: ~60% driving innovation forward to support growth, ~20% ensuring existing customers and partners are retained and satisfied, and ~20% addressing technical debt to reduce future risk.
The role includes partnering with the growth product manager 50-60% of the time to understand key problems in new use cases, assess ROI for solutions, and evaluate market and internal efforts required to deliver results.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand the existing backlog of major initiatives and capabilities, how they fit together, and their strategic alignment
- Work in conjunction with the growth product manager to understand and ask questions about key customer/partner commitments and critical issues that will be transitioned to this role
- Work closely with engineering teams to create and plan Jira tickets and sprint plans
- Understand outstanding technical debt to be addressed over the next 12 months
- Determine key success metrics for the overall product line and identify areas of focus
- Recommend and prioritize backlog items that support existing customers, advance the SaaS roadmap, and schedule these initiatives
- Present recommendations to internal stakeholders for alignment
- Understand resource capacity and create investment plans for new opportunities
- Partner with engineering teams to execute and deliver roadmap items
- Actively collaborate with customer support and implementation teams to resolve customer and partner issues
- Jointly present strategies and roadmaps with ROI analysis for new workflows that expand the customer base and drive growth
- Work with the engineering and growth product manager to determine a 12-month innovation strategy
- Provide ongoing measurement of success metrics and reporting on actuals vs targets
- Execute on cross-product integration opportunities with KitCheck, CostCheck, and ShortageCheck teams
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years' experience working on software products
- Experience in strategy development for scalable applications
- Experience in healthcare software development and delivery
- Experience with regulatory and compliance software in complex or highly regulated environments
- Background in a complex, highly regulated industry environment, work experience with hospital or health system operations is preferable
- Understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
