Job Description

The Product Manager Sr Consultant is responsible for contributing towards defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more analytical data products in Allstate's growing product portfolio. The Product Manager Sr Consultant assists with supporting strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. Successful Product Manager Senior Consultants help to identify assumptions and validate those assumptions using product discovery techniques. The Product Manager Senior Consultant is responsible for working closely with key Pricing stakeholders and partners, ensuring the successful definition and execution of go-to market and communications strategies for their products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and communicate results; make recommendations to leaders on additional product or experience opportunities.
  • Participate in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction.
  • Perform analysis and work that will support recommendations on product and process enhancements.
  • Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product and experience strategy.
  • Contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term strategies to achieve product and experience goals for one or more products in our growing digital product portfolio.
  • Assist with managing the product backlog (including author, test, and accept stories), contribute towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.

  • Ability to contribute towards data-driven decision making on complex and innovative concepts.
  • Ability to convey sense of urgency, strong commitment, and accountability for results.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and assisting in breaking down work for iterative and incremental delivery.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business tactics to support changing business strategies and directions.
  • Effective at stakeholder management and transparent communication.
Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $92,560.00 - 166,465.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
