Role Summary
The Product Implementation Analyst for Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Solutions plays a key role in delivering and supporting state Medicaid program integrity products. This role bridges product functionality, client needs, and technical implementation. You will work closely with state agency clients, internal product teams, and engineering partners to ensure successful deployment, configuration, adoption, and ongoing optimization of FWA analytics tools and services across multiple states.
You will be responsible for translating business requirements into product configurations, validating data integration, supporting solution rollout activities, and helping ensure clients realize measurable value from the FWA solution suite.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Implementation & Delivery
- Lead and support implementation activities for FWA analytics products across multiple Medicaid programs
- Translate client requirements into product configurations, workflows, and data mapping specifications
- Conduct data validation, oversee file integration activities, and ensure system outputs align with Medicaid program expectations
- Partner with engineering and data teams to troubleshoot implementation issues and ensure timely resolution
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test script creation, execution, and documentation
- Client Engagement & Operational Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries during onboarding, rollout, and operational cycles
- Manage incoming tasks, triage operational issues, and provide clear and timely client communication
- Facilitate product training and adoption activities for client users and internal teams
- Provide insights and recommendations that help clients improve their program integrity outcomes
- Analytical & Domain Expertise
- Apply solid analytical skills to interpret Medicaid claims data and support configuration decisions that enhance fraud, waste, and abuse detection
- Review and analyze production reports to ensure data quality and identify anomalies
- Use SQL to extract and validate datasets needed for implementation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Offer creative problem-solving to address non standard implementation challenges
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers to share client feedback and drive continuous product improvement
- Collaborate with data engineering, software engineering, and analytics teams to support scalable deployment across states
- Mentor and support junior analysts and implementation resources as needed

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years writing advanced SQL queries
- 5+ years of experience in FWA analytics, program integrity, or similar investigative domains
- 4+ years of data analysis experience, including working with relational database structures
- 4+ years of healthcare claims experience (Medicaid solidly preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools and report interpretation
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% (likely will be less)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
- Experience with statistical data analysis
- Experience with claim adjudication systems
- Experience/knowledge in validating, interpreting, and analyzing AI/ML model outputs to assess accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness in supporting fraud detection and investigations
- Working knowledge of Medicaid policy and common fraud, waste, and abuse schemes
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Rally
