About August Health

At August Health, our mission is to empower the essential work of caring for our elders.

We achieve this by providing a modern operating platform and electronic health record (EHR) that enables senior living operators to deliver high-quality care with confidence.

Caregivers are the heart of senior living communities, embodying care, compassion, and well-being. Yet, they face increasing challenges—higher resident acuity, complex workflows, and staffing shortages. At August Health, we build tools that simplify their tasks, eliminate inefficiencies, and provide the insights they need to focus on what truly matters—caring for residents.

At August, we strive to live our values each day, in every interaction with our customers and with each other.

  • Be responsible – leave things better than you found them

  • Take ownership – be decisive and take action

  • Be ambitious – build something great

  • Keep an open mindset – communicate candidly and welcome new ideas

  • Be humble – celebrate each others’ successes and learn from our mistakes

  • Stay positive – assume best intent

About the Role

As August Health’s first dedicated Product Enablement Manager, you’ll own how employees learn, understand, and stay current on our product.

This is a highly cross-functional role sitting within the Product organization and partnering closely with Customer Experience, Sales, Support, and Product Marketing. You’ll be responsible for improving and scaling the programs, processes, and content that help employees ramp quickly, confidently explain our product, and stay up-to-date as the platform evolves.

August Health has already invested in product training, documentation, and onboarding programs. You’ll build on that foundation by improving how product knowledge is created, communicated, and reinforced across the company. You’ll partner closely with Product Managers, Customer Experience leaders, Sales, and Product Marketing to translate product changes into effective learning experiences that help teams confidently support customers.

This role is ideal for someone who loves teaching, thrives in fast-moving environments, and gets energized by helping others succeed. You’re equally comfortable designing a learning program, facilitating a live training session, and diving deep into product workflows to understand how things work.

What You’ll Do
  • Own Strategy & Onboarding: Define the product enablement roadmap and build scalable onboarding resources to help new hires ramp quickly.

  • Drive Ongoing Education: Partner with Product Managers and Product Marketing to translate product updates and launch materials into timely, effective internal training programs.

  • Create Scalable Learning Experiences: Design and facilitate live training (workshops, office hours) and develop role-specific self-service content (videos, guides, and knowledge checks) for Customer Experience, Sales, and Support teams.

  • Measure & Optimize: Define metrics for enablement effectiveness (training participation, product knowledge) and optimize our knowledge systems to ensure content remains accurate and easy to discover.

  • Your ultimate goal: accelerate new hire onboarding, build scalable knowledge systems, and ensure our teams are confident and equipped for every product launch.

Who You Are
  • You have experience in product enablement, learning and development, customer education, training, or a related field.

  • You are an exceptional communicator who can simplify complex concepts and make them approachable.

  • You genuinely enjoy teaching and helping others learn, and have a track record of making complex concepts approachable and engaging for diverse audiences.

  • You are engaging, energetic, and comfortable facilitating training sessions for groups of varying sizes.

  • You adapt your communication style to different audiences and learning styles.

  • You excel at building relationships and collaborating across teams.

  • You are highly organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and building programs from the ground up.

  • You are curious enough to dive deep into product details and understand how customers use our software.

  • You believe great enablement is not just about content creation—it’s about driving behavior change and measurable outcomes.

Bonus Points
  • Experience at a SaaS startup or high-growth technology company.

  • Experience supporting Customer Success, Support, Implementation, or Sales teams.

  • Experience building onboarding or employee training programs.

  • Experience as an educator, trainer, instructional designer, or learning specialist.

  • Familiarity with healthcare, senior living, or electronic health record software.

  • Familiarity with billing or accounting software.
