Cable One is seeking a highly motivated and action-oriented individual to lead new product development initiatives in the role of Product, New Verticals. This individual will be responsible for researching new product opportunities, defining the roadmap for emerging products, and ensuring that these initiatives align with the company’s broader strategic goals. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on execution, ensuring that new products are successfully brought to market and drive meaningful business impact.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

  • Product Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify and assess new product opportunities, understanding consumer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Collaborate closely with the VP of Product to define and prioritize the new product roadmap, ensuring alignment with CableOne's broader product and business objectives.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive GTM plans for new product launches, including positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across customer-facing, technical, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product launches and successful market adoption.
  • Product P&L Management: Post-launch, take ownership of the product’s P&L, monitoring performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and driving profitability.
  • Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Continuously engage with customers and gather feedback to iterate on product offerings, ensuring that products evolve to meet customer needs and market demands.

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from C-suite executives to front-line teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably with experience in launching new verticals or products.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end product launches, from ideation and strategy development to GTM execution and post-launch P&L management.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to deliver results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and ability to build business cases for new product opportunities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on technology, internet services, or telecommunications is a plus.
  • Experience working on consumer or subscription products
