Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a Product Development Associate Technologist who will be responsible for contributing to a high-performing team within the international R&D organization. You will work with peers to continuously improve, gain exposure to senior internal stakeholders, and collaborate with factory operators. In this role, you will be part of the R&D Product Development team, responsible for product development projects and activities that implement the R&D strategy and deliver MEA goals and objectives across the MEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product recipes in accordance with the Product Brief.

  • Master the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cycle to develop safe, fit-for-purpose products.

  • Run analytical and organoleptic product tests, validate results, and use them for recipe development and adjustment.

  • Plan and execute industrial trials, validate results, and issue reports.

  • Select and validate ingredients necessary for product development.

  • Create product specifications for new products, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, meet Kraft Heinz manufacturing capabilities, and are entered into the specifications management system.

  • Continuously improve your expertise and skills and build working relationships with internal and external partners to effectively deliver business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related science degree.

  • 0–2 years’ experience in FMCG.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Desire to learn, share knowledge, and adopt best practices.

  • Knowledge of key product characteristics, analytical methods, and organoleptic attributes.

  • Experience with hygienic design, thermal validation, cleaning validation, CIP optimization, and HACCP.

  • Experience with mixing and dosing, homogenization, emulsification, pumps, and fluid transport.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills.
