Product Designer

At Pesa, we are making cross-border payments simple, fast & reliable for individuals & businesses across emerging markets; providing tools that power economic freedom. We are on a mission to localize the global money transfer experience.

We’re looking for a UX Designer who is passionate about creating elegant, consistent, and highly usable digital experiences. In this role, you’ll help shape and scale our design system while crafting beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for complex financial products. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring clarity, trust, and delight to every user interaction.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys balancing system thinking with visual polish, and who cares deeply about consistency, accessibility, and detail.

• Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for web and mobile products
  

• Contribute and help maintain a scalable design system, including components, patterns, and usage guidelines
  

• Standardize UI and UX across products to ensure visual consistency and usability
  

• Translate complex financial workflows into simple, elegant user interfaces
  

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers from concept through implementation
  

• Produce high-quality design artifacts, including wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
  

• Advocate for design best practices, accessibility standards, and usability principles
  

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes
  

• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data insights
  

• 3+ years of experience as a UX, Product, or UI/UX Designer
  

• Strong portfolio demonstrating both systematic design thinking and visually refined UI work

• Experience building or contributing to design systems at scale
  

• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam, Sketch)
  

• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility (WCAG)
  

• Ability to design for complex domains such as finance, data-heavy applications, or enterprise tools
  

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
  

• Attention to detail and a passion for crafting polished user experiences
  

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries
  

• Experience working closely with engineering teams on implementation
  

• Knowledge of usability testing and research methods
