Top Skills: Design For Web And Mobile

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Designer to help shape the future of how people work with AI. You'll collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and researchers to craft intuitive, intelligent experiences that knowledge workers love and rely on every day.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of product design experience, with at least some of that spent designing AI or LLM-based products for consumer or prosumer audiences
  • Genuine AI fluency — you understand how LLM-based systems work and are excited by the UX challenges they create: trust, transparency, personalization, and making AI feel intuitive to everyday users
  • A consumer design mindset — you've designed for real end users, with a focus on intuitive flows, smooth onboarding, and experiences that keep people coming back
  • Technical confidence — you can hold your own in conversations with engineers about model capabilities and constraints, while always advocating for the user
  • A strong portfolio that shows sharp interaction design, visual craft, and shipped products — AI tools, content creation, or personalization-driven work is a big plus
  • Craft and collaboration — a keen eye for detail, a love of simplicity, and a team-first attitude that thrives in fast-moving environments
Responsibilities
  • Design beautiful, human-centered AI experiences — making complex, powerful technology feel simple, trustworthy, and genuinely delightful to use, raising the bar for what great AI product design looks like
  • Push the boundaries of AI interaction design — exploring new patterns for how people discover information, create content, and accomplish goals with AI assistance, helping define interaction paradigms that don't yet exist
  • Own features end-to-end — driving major product work from early concept through launch, conducting user research to uncover real needs, and translating insights into elegant solutions that make knowledge work feel effortless
  • Prototype and iterate rapidly on 0→1 concepts — bringing novel AI-native ideas to life quickly, validating them through research and feedback, and refining with genuine craft and attention to detail
  • Develop deep intuition for AI behavior — building a real understanding of what's possible with LLMs to design experiences that play to AI's strengths while gracefully and thoughtfully handling its limitations
  • Obsess over craft and detail — ensuring every interaction feels intelligent, responsive, and helpful, holding a high bar for quality across every surface you touch
  • Shape product strategy — partnering with PMs to influence roadmaps, championing the user through data and research, and identifying the opportunities where exceptional design creates breakthrough product moments
  • Elevate the team around you — contributing to Jedify's design system, sharing clear design principles, engaging in thoughtful critique, and helping build a culture where great design thrives
What we offer
  • Help and support from our caring HR team
  • 20 days of vacation + 10 days of sick leave
  • The exchange of experience and work with talented colleagues
  • Last but not least - valuable compensation for your efforts

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
