Role Overview:
Do you live to design addictive user experiences that make people fall in love with a product? At Teachstone, we’re not just building professional development programs—we’re on a mission to reimagine online learning and make it as captivating as your favorite Tik-Tok reels. We’re looking for a Product Designer who knows how to drive up conversion and adoption rates and who can turn “meh” digital experiences into something truly irresistible. If you’re into user psychology, geek out over Cugleman, and have binge-watched every Kathy Sierra video, this is the place for you!
You’ll be creating designs that have real impact—interfaces that users can’t help but engage with. We want someone whose work has that special spark and who thrives on pushing the boundaries of what UX can do. If you’re ready to reinvent how people learn online, we’re ready for you.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for complex product features from ideation through execution, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and user testing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Impact, and Marketing to deliver cohesive and scalable design solutions.
- Translate business and user goals into intuitive, sticky design experiences that create value for both users and the company.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and gather insights on how users interact with the product.
- Advocate for design and UX best practices by staying current with industry trends and applying modern design principles and tools.
- Present and communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders, gathering feedback and aligning teams on the design vision.
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment, iterating quickly and responding to feedback from users and stakeholders.

- A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in creating sticky user experiences that increase conversion rates and user adoption
- Experience in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design with an understanding of human-centered design principles and user psychology.
- Proficiency in modern design, prototyping and user testing tools such as Figma and UserTesting
- Experience designing for multiple platforms (e.g., desktop, web, mobile, sometimes print) with a focus on responsive and adaptive design.
- Experience designing within or for Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other education platforms.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles; you understand what’s feasible, even if you don’t code.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and gain alignment across teams.
- Proficient with conducting, interpreting and leveraging qualitative and quantitative user research to inform and improve design decisions.
- Familiarity with designing for accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design practices.
- A growth mindset around leveraging AI—both in your own workflow and in designing smarter, AI-enhanced product experiences.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude with a desire to work in cross-disciplinary teams.
