Who We Are

Imprint is reimagining co-branded credit cards & financial products to be smarter, more rewarding, and truly brand-first. We partner with companies like Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, Brooks Brothers, and Eddie Bauer to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. Our platform combines advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and seamless UX to help brands offer powerful financial products—without becoming a bank.

Co-branded cards account for over $300 billion in U.S. annual spend—but most are still powered by legacy banks. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, tech-forward, and built for today’s consumer. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Khosla Ventures, we’re building a world-class team to redefine how people pay—and how brands grow. If you want to work fast, solve hard problems, and make a real impact, we’d love to meet you.

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our embedded design team and shape the future of co‑branded credit. You’ll be embedded in one of our business verticals, where you’ll work end‑to‑end across a portfolio of brand partnerships.

This role is perfect for a designer who thrives in complexity, loves working cross‑functionally, and can flex across disciplines—from product flows and systems to partner‑facing presentations and digital placements.

What You’ll Do
  • Design end‑to‑end experiences for our embedded credit card products across multiple brand partnerships, from early concept to shipped product.

  • Leverage qual + quant data to uncover insights, validate ideas, and continuously refine our products.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Partner teams to bring experiences to life.

  • Balance systems and craft: work with our design system (and help evolve it), while also creating partner‑specific brand expressions.

  • Be partner‑facing: present work to internal leadership and external brand stakeholders with clarity and influence.

  • Flex beyond product design: generate assets for partner launches and ongoing growth (landing pages, emails, ads, in‑app placements, etc.).

  • Mentor and collaborate with other designers, raising the bar for craft, systems thinking, and creativity across the team.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience shipping digital products at scale (consumer fintech, e‑commerce, loyalty, or payments a plus).

  • A portfolio of shipped work that shows excellence in product design, systems thinking, and storytelling.

  • Comfort working with design systems and the judgment to know when to extend or break them.

  • Ability to translate data into design decisions, working closely with research and analytics partners.

  • Strong grasp of brand and visual design, with the ability to adapt Imprint’s core platform to reflect partner brands.

  • Clear, persuasive communication and presentation skills—you can explain your work to engineers, PMs, execs, and external partners.

  • Familiarity with Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.

  • Bonus: experience creating marketing/digital assets alongside product work.

Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Leading configured work computers of your choice

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage

  • Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA

  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents

  • Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivity

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
