The Opportunity
You will be focusing on creating scalable, flexible, and reusable components that power the entire Tixr ecosystem. As a Product Designer intern, you’ll work closely with product designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to design and maintain high-quality UI libraries that are the foundation of Tixr’s user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical projects, refine Tixr’s design process, and ensure consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across all our platforms. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, process-driven, and eager to offer and execute on ideas to better coordinate and ensure that product vision aligns across the entire organization.
Work-Life
This role is remote with an optional and welcomed work environment at our Santa Monica office, located on the 3rd Street Promenade. We provide parking reimbursement stickers for any of the downtown Santa Monica parking structures. Most teams run West Coast Hours with lots of autonomy. At this time we are only able to hire US Citizens or active US Green Card holders
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reusable components and patterns that form the foundation of Tixr’s design system.
- Establish scalable processes for adding, updating, and retiring components in the system.
- Document and communicate design decisions, creating guidelines and best practices for system adoption.
- Collaborate with engineers for seamless implementation of designs across platforms.
- Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and technical precision in all design work.
- Continuously evolve and refine the design system to meet the needs of a global, multi-platform audience.
- Create UX Prototypes to envision and align product vision across company.
- Drive Data Driven UX decisions through User Experience Research
- Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities for improvements and innovations.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and shipping product.
- Experience with Atomic Design Principles/Design Systems
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Designing with AI
- Experience with Figma
- Currently Enrolled in 4 year university or graduate program from top university
- Preference for degree relating to HCI, HCDE, Cognitive Science, Human Factors
- Design thinking/visual design skills
- Passion for Live entertainment
- Experience with design handoff/documentation, prototyping a plus
- Experience React HTML CSS preferred
- Working knowledge of html, css, Figma Dev Mode
- Detailed-Oriented
