Job Responsibilities:
- Mentor and motivate a global testing team, providing insights and actionable growth pathways.
- Develop and execute efficient testing strategies aligned with product requirements, customer functionality, regulatory standards, and Chase policies.
- Manage complex testing initiatives, mitigate risks, and identify alternative approaches while meeting deadlines across businesses and LOBs.
- Lead escalation discussions with stakeholders to drive resolution.
- Oversee and develop logical test strategies using automation and LLM-based tools to identify risks and improve execution.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the testing process for efficiency and quality.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, business partners, developers, and project managers.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in development, quality assurance, compliance, or related fields. Strong understanding of industry standards, consumer products, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of financial services products, bank policies, regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to translate business requirements into test strategies and artifacts.
- Proven ability to develop data-driven test strategies and risk mitigation models.
- Ability to collaborate, develop, communicate, and execute test plans with business partners and teams. Effective in synthesizing complex workflows for stakeholders.
- Exceptional ability to develop recommendations based on regulatory guidance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a track record of managing priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple test engagements, and adapt as needed.
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Comfortable interfacing with cross-functional teams (Controls, Audit, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, transparency, and diplomacy in sensitive situations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred; related Test Management certifications (ISTQB, CTM, CMST, etc).
- Knowledge of data analytical tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or Python is a plus, along with qTest.
- Advanced in programming languages (e.g., JAVA, Selenium, Cucumber, Python).
- Experience in developing automation tools to enhance test team efficiency and quality.
