Build and maintain product analytics for the core platform: define metrics, events, funnels, and tracking taxonomy; create dashboards, alerts, and analytics infrastructure; analyze user journeys and run A/B tests to validate hypotheses; translate insights into actionable recommendations to prioritize the roadmap.
StellarTech is a rapidly growing company at the forefront of innovation in the EdTech industry. Our team is focused on building scalable products and sustainable business models that shape the future of education. We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our Platform Development Team. Working hand-in-hand with the Product Manager, you will build product analytics for our core platform from the ground up - and become the person who understands user behavior on the platform better than anyone else.
What You'll Do:
- Build product analytics for the core platform together with the Product Manager: define key metrics, events, funnels, and approaches to evaluating user experience.
- Design and maintain the event tracking framework - ensuring data is complete, consistent, and trusted across product and technical teams.
- Identify insights across user journeys, segments, and platform usage scenarios - and automate their regular discovery.
- Create and evolve dashboards, alerts, and analytics infrastructure used by product and engineering teams for day-to-day decisions.
- Support product hypotheses with data: validate ideas, evaluate feature impact, and help prioritize the roadmap with evidence.
- Translate user behavior into clear, actionable recommendations and help teams across the company make data-driven decisions.
We're Looking For:
- 6-8 years of experience as a Product Analyst / Data Analyst in a product IT company (B2C platforms, SaaS, or marketplaces are a plus).
- Strong SQL skills and confident work with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, or similar) and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
- Solid understanding of product metrics: activation, retention, conversion, funnels, cohorts, and unit-level user behavior.
- Experience designing event taxonomies and setting up tracking from scratch or significantly evolving an existing setup.
- Experience with A/B testing and a working knowledge of statistics for experiment evaluation.
- Ability to turn ambiguous product questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
Nice to Have:
- Python or R for analysis and automation of recurring insights.
- Experience working with platform/infrastructure products or technical stakeholders (engineers, architects).
- Experience building analytics processes in a team where analytics did not exist before.
- Strong communication skills: ability to articulate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset - comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Why You'll Love Working With Us:
- Innovative Environment: We're all about trying new things and pushing the envelope in EdTech.
- We are global remote.
- Health: company-provided medical expense compensation.
- AI solutions: AI subscription and other tools.
- Balance: Flexible paid time off - 21 days of annual leave + 10 bank holidays.
- Collaborative Culture: Work alongside passionate professionals who are as driven as you are.
