About you

You're a passionately analytical and curious individual who thrives on uncovering insights from complex data to understand user behavior. You excel at translating data into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for product teams. A proactive problem-solver, you identify opportunities and friction points, designing elegant, data-driven solutions. You collaborate seamlessly cross-functionally, empowering product teams with quantitative understanding to build exceptional B2B SaaS experiences.

What skills do I need?

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a B2B SaaS product environment
  • Expert in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation. 
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling to build scalable, robust analytical foundations.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Looker) to create compelling dashboards and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze diverse datasets and generate novel, actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex analytical findings into clear, impactful recommendations.
  • Adept at stakeholder management, collaborating effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Data Management & Strategy: Shape our data foundation by collaborating with engineering to address gaps in data collection and ensure data models are scalable and predictive. Manage our product data infrastructure, including Redshift and dbt, to guarantee pipelines are robust and efficient. You will also define, measure, and monitor the critical KPIs that drive product success.
  • Actionable Insights & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive product analytics dashboards and reporting systems that provide clear visibility into key product metrics. Proactively analyze product usage data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement across the product lifecycle.
  • Strategic Product Partnership: Partner with product managers to serve as a data expert, defining and tracking success metrics for new features and initiatives. Provide critical data-driven inputs for roadmap planning and prioritization.
  • Communication & Enablement: Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for diverse stakeholders across the organization. You'll also develop and document standardized methodologies for product analysis and measurement to foster data literacy and consistency.
