JOB SUMMARY:
The Product Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of insurance products to meet our customer’s healthcare needs. This role involves navigating complex regulatory requirements, delivering key milestones for important product initiatives, and maintaining detailed documentation. The analyst will use product and project management tools to manage workflows, configure new products, and ensure thorough testing. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this fast-paced position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Insurance Product Configuration and Maintenance:
- Support launch and maintenance of insurance products, through configuration, documentation, and testing
- Maintain and organize current policy documents
- Adhere to state and carrier regulations, collaborating with internal and external compliance teams
- Collaborate with tech teams to maintain and improve the product development process
- Develop new processes as needed to efficiently manage the product lifecycle
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain transparency of product status with stakeholders, by leveraging tools like JIRA and Excel
- Maintain detailed records for product configurations and updates
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes and changes
Projects:
- Lead product workstreams for large initiatives, ensuring key milestones are met
- Participate in project meetings and special assignments
- Adhere to compliance requirements in all product-related activities

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred experience in the insurance industry, specifically with maintaining insurance products
- Extreme detail-orientation and ability to manage product complexities
- Experience working in a highly-regulated environment to maintain compliance a plus
- Creative problem solving mindset to build out product processes as the company scales
- Ability to communicate effectively via different forums (email, video conferencing, etc) in a remote setting
