You’ll guide homeowners through next steps, respond to questions, and ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. Behind the scenes, you’ll own the Processor Task Queue and Aged Follow-Ups, maintaining data accuracy, documentation quality, and process flow so cases move efficiently toward funding and closing.

Your responsibilities

  • Process assigned tasks in the Processor Task Queue and complete aged follow-ups in accordance with defined SLAs, priorities, and quality standards.
  • Engage with homeowners through outbound calls, SMS, and email to obtain required information, provide updates, or resolve outstanding issues.
  • Manage incoming dockets and ensure timely action on new assignments as they are received.
  • Accurately update records, notes, and dispositions in appropriate systems, maintaining 100% traceability and a complete audit trail.
  • Meet or exceed quality assurance (QA) accuracy targets and productivity expectations.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and quick-reference guides; proactively contribute to process and playbook improvements.
  • Identify and flag recurring defects or root causes; recommend or support corrective actions such as SOP updates, form revisions, automation, or validation rules.

About you

  • 1–2+ years of experience in back-office operations, processing, or shared services/provider.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent) managing queues, tasks, and case notes.
  • Intermediate Google Sheets or Excel skills, including filters, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; comfortable with repetitive or data-intensive work.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours or shifts based on business needs.
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or insurance operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or work management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, TaskRay) preferred.
  • Exposure to QA or audit processes, root-cause analysis, or defect tracking preferred.

Our benefits

  • Generous health benefits: We provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans with options for flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA).
  • Unlimited paid time off: Recharge with unlimited paid time off and 10 company holidays.
  • Flexible remote and onsite work: Our teams work from many different locations and time zones. We support fully remote work and also have an amazing in-person environment in our downtown Palo Alto, CA HQ.
  • Fully paid parental leave: Point will supplement state Paid Family Leave (PFL) so employees receive 100% of their regular base pay, plus two additional weeks of fully paid leave after state PFL ends. In states without PFL, Point offers up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave. In addition, employees also receive 4 weeks of fully paid transition time, during which you may work 2–3 days per week while receiving full base pay.
  • Equity: We offer meaningful equity because we believe in sharing the value you help create. Your contributions directly impact our growth, and your equity gives you a stake in our future success.
  • Financial wellness:  We provide 401K retirement plans for employees as well as guaranteed life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Extra work/life benefits: We provide monthly stipends for internet, mobile plans, wellness perks, and a one-time home office reimbursement.

Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary for this role at this level based on the market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Salary):

  • Tier 2 | Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, Portland, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Los Angeles & Santa Barbara | $49,500
  • Tier 3 | All other US metro areas | $43,500

This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews, coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors, to determine final compensation.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)

  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
