SUMMARY:

The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting in establishing processes and methodologies to enable the manufacture of products through all product development phases and support those products once released to manufacturing. Some of these projects include application specific general-purpose servers, general purpose base servers platforms, integration of special purpose PCI cards, software applications, tools and utilities.  The candidate will be responsible for multi-tasking and providing engineering support across multiple products.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in development of work instructions for manufacturing test / assembly processes.
  • Build product in support of proving out process methodologies and work instructions
  • Review and implement ECO’s for UEI & Contract Mfg.
  • Assist in design and establish processes for manufacturing / test.
  • Perform calibration of process equipment per ISO requirements.
  • Perform mechanical rework in support of engineering change orders.
  • Review Bill Of Materials (BOM) for ECO sign off.
  • Ensure final products meet requirements specifications and BOM
  • Assist in review of GA readiness of product.
  • Learn about company’s business as appropriate. Shows up to work on time and attends work as scheduled.
  • All other duties as requested by supervisor or department head.

Job-Specific Competencies:

  • BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 1 -3 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering environment
  • Ability to evaluate, document and educate on required manufacturing operating work instructions, processes and process control plans.
  • Requires in depth knowledge about the companies products and services.
  • Ability to follow all applicable Business Management System (BMS) processes
