In your role as the Private Equity Development Manager you will help form the HubSpot Private Equity program. This involves direct engagement with PE firms, HubSpot Solutions Partners, and other relevant parties. This role involves coordinating internal workflows, ensuring a consistent client experience, and addressing operational challenges. You will work cross-functionally across Sales, Legal, Partner sales and operations teams, and other stakeholders
In your role as Private Equity Development Manager, you’ll get to:
- Engage directly with PE firms to establish and maintain relationships, and qualify for mutual fit based on the phased approach of the program’s evolution
- Engage with HubSpot Solutions Partners who already have established Private Equity relationships
- Generate qualified sales opportunities, and surface insights to the relevant supporting teams
- Coordinate internal workflows across Sales, Legal, Solutions Partners, Partner Sales, Partner Operations, Product, and other stakeholders to streamline the operations of the program
- Overlay across Sales and CS teams to ensure PE firms and their portfolio companies receive appropriate support and a consistent experience in the purchase and post-sale processes.
- Gather, organize, and report back feedback to help improve the experience for all parties involved
- Act as an evangelist within the HubSpot sales organization
- Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
- Have 3 - 5 years experience working with Private Equity firms
- Have experience in a fast-paced SaaS or technology-based environment.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort
- Have a deep understanding of what PE operating partners care about
- Understanding of channel partnerships is a plus
- Have proven leadership when working with so many cross-functional collaborators and can manage multiple work streams
- Have the ability to identify required resources and gather requirements, drive a sense of common purpose and shared goals/vision, and deliver results as an outcome of ongoing or time-bound work
- Can take an ambiguous problem, make sense of it, and propose a path forward.

Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
