Verrill is actively seeking an Associate to join our Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Practice Group in Boston, Massachusetts. Our growing Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Practice Group is among the most experienced in New England. Our attorneys work closely with individuals and families to understand the clients’ priorities and goals and their intentions for the legacies they wish to achieve.

The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience in aspects of estate planning, trust and estate administration and related tax work. Recent law school graduates may be considered if they have demonstrated an interest in estate planning by taking relevant coursework. Occasional travel dependent on business needs may be required. Admission to the Massachusetts bar, or eligibility to obtain admission, is required.

The successful candidate will have strong writing and research skills, and superior verbal/interpersonal communication skills. Applicants must be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects, set priorities and meet competing deadlines, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate has the desire to work directly with clients with the goal of establishing and maintaining long-term productive relationships.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $150,000. This is Verrill’s good faith estimate of the annual salary for the position at the time of this posting for the indicated location. Final base salary will be determined by several factors including, but not limited to skills, experience, job-related qualifications and other market factors. This range represents only one component of a comprehensive compensation and benefits package at Verrill.
