This role leads metrology and inspection capability, drives recipe standardization and throughput, and tightens process control across critical modules.
ResponsibilitiesOwn the metrology control plan for critical characteristics aligned to CTQs/CTPs.
Build, qualify, and standardize metrology/inspection recipes.
Lead MSA (GR&R, bias/linearity, stability) and calibration governance.
Partner with Integration, Process, Equipment, and Production to improve yield and reduce escapes.
Optimize sampling, relieve bottlenecks, and improve recipe cycle time.
Maintain documentation and train technicians.
QualificationsMS or PhD in Engineering/Physics or related field.
5+ years in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing metrology.
Experience with CD‑SEM, ellipsometry, profilometry, XRF/XRD, AOI.
Image analytics and defect classification.
Strong SPC/MSA/DOE knowledge; data analysis with JMP/Python.
High-volume manufacturing experience is preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is preferred.
