About the Role

We are seeking a Principal, Strategic Partnerships to lead expansion and transformation within our most significant health system partners. Reporting to the VP of Growth and partnering with internal executive leadership, you will operate as a senior strategic advisor, navigating the largest health systems in the country "broad and deep" - maintaining C-suite alignment while executing discovery across clinical and operational service lines. Your objective is to identify and prioritize high-value workflows, architecting the roadmap for enterprise-wide AI adoption.

What You'll Do
  • Executive Relationship Governance: Maintain trusted, long-term partnerships with CEOs, CFOs, and CMOs to ensure Hippocratic AI remains central to the organization’s strategic roadmap.

  • Multi-Level Strategic Discovery: Navigate 1–2 levels below the C-suite to engage Departmental Heads and Service Line Leaders, uncovering specific clinical and operational use cases for AI application.

  • Healthcare Economic Analysis: Utilize a sophisticated understanding of healthcare economics to evaluate and prioritize use cases based on their impact on health system margins, labor capacity, and clinical outcomes.

  • Organizational Navigation: Demonstrate elite judgment in navigating the complex political and matrixed environments of $5B+ health systems to drive consensus across competing internal stakeholders.

  • Partnership Expansion & Utilization: Drive exponential account expansion by identifying new high-impact use cases and driving increased utilization across the enterprise.

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner with internal Delivery, Clinical, and Product counterparts to transition identified opportunities from the discovery phase to technical implementation.

  • This role requires a minimum of 20-40% travel, which may include overnight or out-of-state trips.

What You Bring

Must Have:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in enterprise healthcare transformation, strategic sales, commercial leadership, or high-level management consulting.

  • Exceptional Commercial & Clinical Fluency: Proven ability to engage a CFO on margin pressure, a CMO on clinical workflow risk, and a CIO on technical integration strategy.

  • Track Record of Scale: Experience personally closing or expanding $2M+ enterprise engagements and managing the long-term health of large-scale transformative partnerships.

  • Consistent Excellence: Track record of being the top performer.

  • Political & Strategic Maturity: A demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders in novel categories where no prior budget line existed.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel 50%+ for high-touch, on-site discovery and executive engagement.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or other advanced degrees are highly preferred.
