We are actively seeking a Principal Solution Technical Architect, ServiceNow (CTA). The role may require periodic travel as necessary across the world. This is a remote position that is based in the U.S.

Position Summary 

As part of our Rimini Consult group, the Principal Solution Technical Architect, ServiceNow (CTA) plays a pivotal role in driving ERP modernization and innovation projects by designing and delivering tailored functional solutions that position ServiceNow as the engagement layer for ERP users. This role focuses on integrating ERP systems like SAP and Oracle with ServiceNow, leveraging IntegrationHub, ERP Canvas, App Engine, and NowAssist AI to create intuitive, persona-driven workflows that enhance user productivity and operational efficiency. The architect bridges the gap between technical capabilities and business objectives, ensuring scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative ERP workflows for finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, and other business functions using ERP Canvas and App Engine.
  • Develop AI-powered, persona-driven solutions that provide proactive guidance, predictive insights, and real-time support for ERP users.
  • Extend ServiceNow’s capabilities by creating tailored solutions that align with organizational goals and address specific business challenges.
  • Leverage IntegrationHub as the middleware and API integration layer to seamlessly connect ServiceNow with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Design secure, scalable integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP) and IntegrationHub Spokes, enabling real-time data exchange and process automation.
  • Lead the architecture and execution of integration strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and performance requirements.
  • Incorporate NowAssist AI, Virtual Agent, and Generative AI capabilities to create intelligent workflows that automate repetitive tasks, enhance user engagement, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Design AI-driven dashboards and analytics tools that provide decision-makers with predictive insights and operational intelligence.
  • Enable AI agents to work collaboratively to support ERP users, offering seamless assistance across roles and functions.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create role-based, intuitive interfaces that simplify complex ERP workflows and drive adoption.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and robust role security designs to ensure seamless access and a secure user experience.
  • Develop day-in-the-life scenarios for personas to design workflows that align with business objectives and KPIs.
  • Ensure data protection by implementing access controls, encryption mechanisms, audit logging, and compliance frameworks within ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with enterprise security teams to integrate governance policies such as GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA into solutions.
  • Conduct security assessments and maintain the integrity of sensitive ERP data during integrations and workflow customizations.
  • Engage with business leaders, ERP specialists, and technical teams to gather requirements, define objectives, and ensure solution alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to prioritize features, document requirements, and map out tailored ERP workflows.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on ServiceNow’s role in enterprise transformation.
  • Identify opportunities to expand ServiceNow’s functionality as the engagement layer, introducing new AI-assisted modules and workflows.
  • Monitor solution performance and adoption metrics, making data-driven improvements to maximize business value.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in ServiceNow capabilities, ERP technologies, and AI to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Active ServiceNow CTA Certification is required.

Remote – U.S.

Desired Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow and ERP systems integration.
  • Proven track record in implementing ERP modernization and AI-driven solutions on ServiceNow.
  • Highly Desired Certifications Include: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS). Additional certifications in SAP, Oracle ERP, or AI are a plus.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in IntegrationHub, ERP Canvas, Flow Designer, App Engine, and NowAssist AI.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow’s core modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and GRC.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP and Oracle ERP systems, including modules for finance, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Experience in modernizing ERP workflows to enhance usability and efficiency.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions, including predictive analytics, conversational AI, and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of AI agent collaboration and how it supports ERP users in achieving business goals.
  • Advanced skills in API integration, data mapping, and real-time synchronization using ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience designing middleware solutions that connect diverse enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of designing user-friendly, role-based interfaces and workflows.
  • Proficiency in implementing SSO, role-based access controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts in business terms.

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 131k - 164k depending on skills and experience.
