JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge software solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Python, Java, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and OpenAI technologies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our products and mentoring engineering teams.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and implement scalable software systems using Python and Java.
- Design and deploy intelligent automation solutions leveraging RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Integrate and apply OpenAI APIs and models to enhance product capabilities.
- Lead machine learning initiatives including model development, training, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and roadmaps.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact.
REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python and Java.
- Proven experience in implementing RPA solutions.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI tools and APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and deployment strategies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $140-150K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
