Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) is the world’s largest telematics service provider. Its mission is to make the world’s roads and drivers safer. The company’s AI-driven platform, DriveWell Fusion®, gathers sensor data from millions of IoT devices — including smartphones, proprietary Tags, connected vehicles, dashcams, and third-party devices — and fuses them with contextual data to create a unified view of vehicle and driver behavior. Auto insurers, automakers, commercial mobility companies, and the public sector use insights from CMT’s platform to power risk assessment, safety, claims, and driver improvement programs. Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with offices in Budapest, Chennai, Seattle, Tokyo, and Zagreb, CMT measures and protects tens of millions of drivers across the world every day.

CMT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Program Manager to independently lead the end-to-end delivery of Crash & Claims products.  Our products are central to our mission, supporting safer drivers and safer roads by integrating seamlessly with a wide range of applications and services. Your leadership will ensure the timely, efficient and effective implementation of our products with partners and customers, impacting and enhancing safety on a global scale.

You will be responsible for translating customer specific claims organizational needs into clear business and technical requirements.  You will guide the technical direction to deliver solutions that meet CMT’s high standards for customer satisfaction, efficiency, stability, extensibility, simplicity, and operational excellence.  And you will collaborate internally with Sales and Customer Success to identify opportunities to expand adoption of Crash & Claims products within existing partner programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of crash and claims product implementations, ensuring on-time execution, budget adherence, and alignment with partner and internal expectations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between insurance partners, claims organizations, and CMT internal teams—including Engineering, QA, and Product.
  • Manage cross-functional coordination, ensuring alignment on technical and business requirements for crash detection, claims workflows, and data integrations.
  • Translate partner-specific needs into clear business and technical requirements; ensure seamless communication across internal stakeholders to support implementation success.
  • Own the program roadmap and delivery plan, prioritizing features and enhancements based on partner value and business goals.
  • Drive risk identification and mitigation, proactively resolving blockers that impact timelines or deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee partner onboarding and implementation phases, from kickoff through sustained production support, including UAT, configuration, and integration validation.
  • Support post-implementation program health by monitoring partner-specific performance metrics (e.g., FNOL rates, false positives, claims closure times) and surfacing trends to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to identify opportunities to expand usage of crash and claims products within existing partner programs.
  • Triage and escalate critical partner requests, enhancements, or issues to relevant internal teams; track to resolution and communicate updates clearly.
  • Support and enforce process documentation and continuous improvement across implementation practices.
  • Lead and mentor peers as needed on crash and claims implementation best practices, tools, and partner engagement models.
  • Take ownership of additional cross-functional tasks and initiatives related to crash and claims programs as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification
  • 7+ years of product or program management experience, and experience working directly with engineering teams.  Should be comfortable coordinating and launching technical implementations.
  • Proven track record of driving several, sophisticated programs and launching on time/on budget
  • Tight-knit collaboration, planning, influencing, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, coupled with an intense focus on quality and detail
  • Proven capability to communicate complex technical and strategic concepts to a range of audiences, including executive leadership

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience, and annual performance bonus
  • Equity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
  • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, matching 401k, short-term & long-term disability and parental leave
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off including vacation, sick days & public holidays
  • Flexible scheduling and work from home policy depending on role and responsibilities

Additional Perks:

  • Feel great working to improve road safety around the world!
  • Join one of our many employee resource groups including Black, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, Women, Book Club and Health & Wellness
  • Extensive wellness, education and employee assistance programs
  • CMT will do all that is possible to support our employees and create a positive and inclusive work environment for all!
