About the Role

The Principal Product Strategist is a senior individual contributor in the Product organization operating at the intersection of product strategy, portfolio execution, and operations. This role partners closely with Platform product (i.e. RiskOS platform) leaders to drive cross-functional alignment, execution rigor, stakeholder visibility, and launch readiness across RiskOS-led initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Product Strategy & Operations, you will be aligned to partner closely with Platform Products leaders who are architecting the orchestration and decisioning layer for Socure’s customers to onboard, activate and leverage all of Socure’s solutions through RiskOS. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, FP&A, BizOps, and Enablement teams to translate strategy into scalable, high-impact execution. A key focus of this role is to be a strategic and execution partner to the RiskOS leader on complex, cross-product initiatives, ensuring milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications are actively managed across Core RiskOS, KYA, and Workforce Verification. You will develop deep expertise in Socure’s products, platform, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

What You'll Do

Strategic Partnership & Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Platform Products i.e. RiskOS leadership, providing insight, structure, and execution support to drive priorities and outcomes.

  • Act as a thought leader and partner, fostering a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and operational rigor.

  • Ensure there is communication and visibility from the RiskOS team to internal partners especially on key items where RiskOS is the entry/gateway but the consumption and usage of products is driving new customer behavior or opportunities for Socure

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and Enablement to ensure launch readiness, cross-functional alignment, and follow-through on adoption plans.

  • Ensure required launch, readiness, and internal enablement artifacts are created, reviewed, and kept current for launches and major releases.

  • Partner with Global Enablement to ensure internal teams are trained to effectively position and support core product use cases.

  • Create strong feedback loops from GTM teams back to Product and Technology to inform roadmap and innovation.

  • Drive end-to-end cross-functional coordination for RiskOS-led initiatives across Product, Engineering, Solution Consulting, Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, Finance, Enablement, and BizOps, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and decisions stay on track.

Product Strategy & Operational Excellence at scale

  • Drive Aha! Roadmap adoption across the RiskOS platform leaders in partnership with the Head of Product Strategy & Operations.

  • Standardize and continuously improve product development lifecycle processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Drive cross-functional operational alignment across Product & Technology; and especially in partnership with the Core Product teams where heavy interdependencies and partnerships are required

  • Identify and drive scalable improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • Drive pre-launch execution discipline by ensuring the go-to-market checklist and required cross-functional readiness steps Product Managers are accountable to complete with GTM teams is delivered. The role will focus on this front for the very largest and strategic projects/launches.

  • Use Aha, Jira, and related tooling to monitor portfolio health, identify delivery and dependency trends, improve roadmap hygiene, and surface actionable insights to product leadership.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field for example mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, economics; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in product / business operations and go-to-market within fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or technology companies.

  • Strong background in B2B SaaS; experience in fintech, identity, or fraud prevention is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of product operations, cross-functional program execution, and business operations, with a demonstrated ability to partner closely with Product leaders to drive outcomes.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and transformation with a strong bias to action and collaboration.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. You will be tested for your ability to break down problems, develop insights and communicate a recommendation to executives in a structured, clear and succinct manner

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence without direct people management; experience working with executive and C-suite stakeholders is a plus.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
