What You’ll Do
• Be the expert on your buyers – how they buy and their buying criteria, as well as key market requirements and trends.
• Be the voice of the market—analyze trends, understand buyer needs, and translate insights into compelling narratives.
• Engage with customers and partners to deepen understanding and refine positioning.
• Know the competition—develop strategies to win and keep us ahead.
• Drive go-to-market execution —plan and execute go-to-market strategies and product launches for our AI-powered solutions, including Black Duck Signal™, aligning product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
• Craft powerful messaging that differentiates Black Duck AI solutions in a competitive market.
• Enable sales success by creating tools, presentations, demos, and competitive battle cards that win deals.
• Drive awareness through blogs, web content, datasheets, videos, and whitepapers that showcase our leadership.
• Collaborate on marketing plans with your peers on the Marketing team, with innovative ideas for demand generation and growth.
 
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, product management, or related roles in B2B software (SaaS experience preferred).
• Passion for software development and security, with familiarity in AI-powered development, Open Source, DevOps, SaaS, and application security.
• Strong communication skills—able to turn technical concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to learn quickly, think creatively, and work collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• BS/BA in a technical field or relevant career experience preferred; MBA a plus.
• Some travel (~ 10%) required.





The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $145,800-$218,700. In addition, this role is eligible for a bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Pay Range
$145,800$218,700 USD
