About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented product manager to help drive the evolution of our Lucidworks Search product, contributing across the full product lifecycle—from early discovery through successful customer adoption. This is a highly technical product role that reports to the VP of Product and involves close collaboration with Engineering to understand technical tradeoffs, with Client Success and customers to surface pain points, and with Sales to support business growth.

This person excels in discovery, analysis, communication, and execution, ensuring that product initiatives are well-defined, delivered on time, and aligned with customer needs. You will play a key role in connecting cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration across the organization. You’ll also contribute to internal and external conversations around product direction, helping align execution with vision.

This role spans a wide range of responsibilities, including analysis, roadmapping, partnering with Engineering on delivery, supporting pricing and packaging decisions, preparing enablement materials, documentation, demos, go-to-market coordination, and driving adoption.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Client Success, Sales, and Marketing) to deliver solutions that drive customer value and business impact.
  • Translate customer feedback, usage data, and market trends into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Own product initiatives from discovery through delivery, ensuring features are well-scoped, delivered on time, and meet quality expectations.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by preparing demos, documentation, and enablement materials in partnership with internal teams.
  • Help inform pricing and packaging discussions through customer insights and a strong understanding of margin drivers in Fusion
  • Track and analyze key product metrics (e.g., adoption, usage, satisfaction) to evaluate impact and inform iteration.
  • Facilitate clear communication of product plans, progress, and changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve product development processes and team workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer-focused environments.
  • Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle—from discovery and definition through development, launch, and adoption.
  • Strong technical fluency; able to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams and understand architectural and implementation tradeoffs.
  • Experience working on complex products or platforms; familiarity with search technologies or developer tools is a plus.
  • Skilled at translating customer needs and business goals into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative inputs to guide product decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, with a track record of managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate autonomously while staying aligned with broader product strategy.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, with experience working across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
