Position Overview

PHIL is seeking a Principal Product Manager who acts like a General Manager (GM) to lead and execute our partnerships and integrations strategy. In this high-impact role, you will own defining the business requirements, identifying and evaluating service providers and third party systems, and defining a clear roadmap for delivering quick wins and long term scalability.

You will serve as a cross-functional thought leader and venturesome strategist, working closely with Business Development, Engineering, Design, and Pharmacy Operations to expand our capabilities, scale our infrastructure, and improve quality and efficiency across the board. This is a critical role for a leader who can seamlessly link high-level business strategy to product requirements while maintaining a deep understanding of the broader industry landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the strategic roadmap for PHIL’s external integrations including electronic health records, payers and plans, third party providers, etc., linking high-level business strategy to technical requirements and product outcomes.

  • Benchmark against industry best practices, and build a plan to achieve best-in-class service offerings based on strategic direction and priorities.

  • Solve complex problems efficiently by driving significant improvements in quality and speed through optimized processing and judicious use of platform capabilities vs internal development.

  • Develop and champion new platform capabilities to support expanded therapeutic categories and patient therapy management.

  • Set long-term success metrics and operational KPIs, and ensure the product roadmap is tightly aligned with measurable outcomes.

  • Act as a venturesome industry leader, identifying and evaluating third-party systems and service providers to keep PHIL at the forefront of the health-tech landscape.

  • Lead cross-functional partnership with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to define priorities and deliver value.

  • Lead discovery efforts and user research to identify top opportunities to deliver value, and ruthlessly prioritize to maintain organization focus.

  • Mentor product team members and elevate the overall product team capability through thought leadership, strategic rigor, and operational depth

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in product management with minimum 3 years experience in converting organization business strategy into clear product requirements and outcomes.

  • Experience in healthcare, ideally in pharmacy operations, EHR systems, payer and plan integrations, etc.

  • Proven ability to define and drive product strategy in complex, regulated, and mission-critical domains

  • Strong fluency with data and metrics, including experience setting and managing product KPIs and operational SLAs

  • Deep understanding of technical systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership including C suite leaders on product strategy and prioritization, to optimize business outcomes.

  • A passion for improving patient care through thoughtful, scalable systems design

  • Ability to thrive under pressure, deliver outsized results as a highly independent individual contributor and bias for action to launch solutions rapidly.

  • Proven use of AI in actual product solutions including continuous learning systems, as well as in development efficiency.

  • Education in technology / healthcare / pharmacy is required, MBA is highly desired.
