Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Join us to shape the future of Agentic Solutions in Atlassian Studio
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to define the next generation of Agentic Platform & Solutions inside Atlassian Studio. In this role, you'll own both the platform layer that powers orchestration and governance, and the solution experience that enables Makers to design, run, and share intelligent agents and workflows across Atlassian products and the broader enterprise. You'll work at the intersection of AI, automation, and ecosystems- helping Atlassian customers and partners turn ideas into outcomes at scale.
Your future team
You'll join the Studio Platform group, responsible for building the foundation for Agentic Solutions in Studio. This includes orchestration of custom Rovo Agents, automations\workflows, and solution templates that span Atlassian products and external systems. You'll partner with teams across Automation, Teamwork Graph, Forge, Security, and the Marketplace to deliver both the platform capabilities and the solution experience that unlock new value for customers and partners.
What you'll do
  • Define the vision and strategy for Agentic Orchestration of Low-code No-code (LCNC) Solution building in Studio.
  • Shape the builder experience across the LCNC - Pro-code continuum, enabling Makers to create solutions that orchestrate across Atlassian capabilities - Rovo Agents, Automations, Apps, Assets, and Hubs.
  • Deliver platform services for orchestration, governance, lifecycle, and extensibility.
  • Drive integration with Marketplace, enabling customers and partners to publish, share, and extend solutions.
  • Ensure trust, governance, and scale are foundational to how the platform and solutions operate.
  • Collaborate across product lines (Jira, Confluence, JSM, Loom) to deliver cohesive, differentiated customer value.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners to validate needs, test ideas, and refine the roadmap.
  • Define and track success metrics that reflect adoption, reliability, and business impact.

What we're looking for
  • 12+ years of product management experience, ideally at the intersection of platform ownership and solution-oriented product delivery for enterprise clients.
  • A track record of shipping cross-cutting capabilities that support both builders and end users.
  • Strong product sense and systems thinking - you simplify complexity into clear building blocks.
  • Comfort using data, experimentation, and customer insights to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across executives, engineers, and customers.

What will help you stand out
  • Experience with hands on design, architecture, and delivery of end-end Solution building utilizing diverse Platform capabilities especially packaging and distribution of reusable solution templates.
  • Background in enterprise governance, security, or compliance.
  • Familiarity with automation, orchestration, or AI-driven workflow platforms and eval approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian products, Forge, or similar extension frameworks.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
