Lead the design of Afterpay apps globally, overseeing end-to-end customer experience, collaborating across teams, and mentoring designers in a diverse environment.
It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world's relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.
Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We've been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.
The Role
We're looking for a Principal Product Designer to lead the design of our Afterpay apps globally. This role sits within the Credit & Commerce team at Cash App, focused on reimagining how people access, spend, and manage money across our Afterpay apps in the US, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Canada.
Afterpay is one of the most trusted names in BNPL, and our apps are a crucial way our customers engage with the brand. We're now investing in these apps to reimagine the shopping experience for our current customers as well as the next generation of consumers. The opportunity is to rethink everything, identify new opportunities and make it a best in class experience. As a Staff Designer, you'll be responsible for shaping the end-to-end product vision and experience, setting the quality bar, and helping define the future of how people shop and pay over time.
At Cash App and Afterpay, design is at the heart of how we build products. You'll join a diverse team of designers, researchers, and writers reimagining the financial system for the next generation. In this role, you'll directly shape the future of Afterpay's global customer experience, ensuring we deliver trust, value and delight in every interaction.
This role can be performed anywhere in Australia and the US - West-coast preferred.
