As a member of the digital business unit, you will be working on cutting-edge processors and microcontrollers central to ADI’s goal of enabling the intelligent edge.

As a Principal Engineer on the Systems Engineering team you will work with marketing teams, SoC architects, algorithm experts, software engineers, and hardware designers to define products for applications such as autonomous and electric vehicles, intelligent robotics, and renewable energy.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant semiconductor experience
  • 5+ years engaging directly with customers and willingness to travel globally
  • 5+ years in a product definition role.  Product Management, Systems Engineering, or the like
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver solution-focused approach – combining hardware and software.
  • High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to understand how customer systems function

 
Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with managing requirements and the V-model
  • Experience debugging circuits and software
  • Experience with software development tools and techniques
  • Proficient with electrical lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply...)
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) / Distributed control system (DCS) and programming Robotics Systems
  • Knowledge of the following programming languages: C, Python, VHDL.
  • Knowledge of the following software: Altium Designer, Pspice, Matlab.
  • Knowledge of mainstream automation frameworks: Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, etc
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms for industrial application

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $157,080 to $227,460.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
