The Opportunity

The Principle Digital Optimization Strategist is a customer-facing, market-driving subject matter expert who uses data analytics and consulting skills to design, implement, and optimize data-driven, omnichannel programs that accelerate our clients ability to achieve business results. You will analyze customer data to create A/B tests and personalized campaigns, develop strategies for and client success, and provide ongoing guidance to maximize program ROI and conversion rate optimization (CRO). 

Reporting into the Chief Customer Officer, this role sits at the intersection of customer advisory, digital optimization, and product marketing. You will split your time between hands-on customer engagement and consulting and advising the Fastr go-to-market and product teams to shape our narrative and inform our product roadmap. 

You’ll serve as Fastr’s in-house digital optimization expert for both our customers and the market, helping enterprise brands: 

  • Identify growth and conversion opportunities 
  • Interpret digital performance data 
  • Turn insights into concrete testing and optimization strategies 


You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to define and communicate the value of Fastr Optimize, lead thought-leadership initiatives, and guide brands toward smarter, faster digital decisions. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the crossroads of analytics and creativity; someone who can talk shop with digital leaders, make sharp CRO recommendations, and confidently represent Fastr on webinars, at events, in customer workshops, and in executive conversations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Digital Optimization Strategy, Consulting & Thought Leadership 
  • Deliver billable consulting engagements (e.g., optimization audits, strategy workshops, test planning, performance reviews). 
  • Onboard new clients by helping them launch their Digital Optimization programs by understanding their needs, setting goals, and developing account plans. 
  • Design, measure, and analyze Digital Optimization program effectivenessand leverage AI-driven predictive analytics to identify optimization opportunities. 
  • Create customized user segmentation and personalization strategies and tailor marketing campaigns to individual customer habits and preferences. 
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to share findings and offer advice on how clients can improve their programs. 
  • Work with internal Fastr teams and client teams to execute strategies and analyze results. 
  • Focus on improving conversation rates and driving revenue growth through data-driven insights and personalized marketing. 
  • Act as Fastr’s optimization thought leader, shaping how we talk about conversion, personalization, and performance across digital channels. 
  • Participate in and host webinars, podcasts, events, and virtual roundtables as a subject matter expert. 
  • Partner with Marketing to create high-impact content, such as blog posts, guides, playbooks, webinars, conference talks, and email/landing experiences, that build demand and positions Fastr as the expert in digital optimization. 
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, sales training, and onboarding to strengthen optimization literacy and competitive awareness across the company. 
  • Champion experimentation and data-driven decision making across marketing touchpoints and campaigns. 
  • Support pre-sales conversations by reviewing prospect sites, identifying optimization opportunities, and advising on CRO, experimentation, and digital experience strategies. 
  • Partner with Customer Success leadership to design post-sales advisory and light-touch strategic guidance that helps customers extract measurable value from Fastr Optimize. 

 

  • Product Marketing & Competitive Enablement 
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to define Fastr Optimize’s positioning, messaging, and value propositions for our target verticals and personas. 
  • Support the go-to-market teams in building compelling sales decks, battlecards, competitive comparisons, and case studies that showcase optimization results and customer success. 
  • Own and evolve competitive intelligence around players like VWO, Optimizely, and related tools, keeping Sales and Marketing current on the landscape and Fastr’s differentiators. 
  • Translate customer feedback, market trends, and optimization insights into go-to-market strategies, content themes, and enablement assets. 


What You’ll Bring 

  • 8+ years of experience advising enterprise ecommerce or retail brands on digital performance, experimentation, or optimization strategy or leading a data-driven omnichannel team at enterprise ecommerce or retail brands. 
  • A proven ability to translate data into action. Comfortable digging into performance metrics and turning them into clear recommendations, narratives, and next steps. 
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills. Confident speaking with c-level executives, leading webinars, interviewing customers, and representing Fastr as a thought leader.  
  • A passion for using AI to work smarter. Continuously experimenting with new tools, workflows, and methods to make insight generation and execution faster and sharper. 
  • Curiosity, agility, and a bias toward action. You love learning, testing, and iterating in a fast-paced environment, and you’re comfortable being hands-on and wearing multiple hats. 
  • Demonstrated experience building positioning, messaging, and enablement materials that move deals forward and drive product adoption. 
  • Proven experience in product marketing, digital marketing, optimization/CRO, or digital strategy, ideally within SaaS, ecommerce, or a digital agency environment. 
  • Strong familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools such as GA4, Heap, VWO, Optimizely, or similar platforms.
