Your role at Dynatrace
Are you the kind of developer who loves diving into the new tools to just see how they work? Do you enjoy turning complex tech into something others can understand?
We're looking for someone who's comfortable writing a blog post or recording a tutorial as they are spinning up a proof of concept with the latest cloud native tech. You'll partner closely with our engineering teams to test new features; help shape documentation and make sure the developer experience is seamless.
You'll also be out in the world - on the stage at conferences, in conversations on social media and in the forums where developers hang out, building real relationships and helping Dynatrace users succeed. If you're excited about creating authentic content and amplifying the voice of the community we'd like to meet you.
Your responsibilities at Dynatrace
  • Actively connect with the developer community using Dynatrace to capture their needs and feedback and bring it back to the organization to ensure the voice of the customer is heard and informs product decisions
  • Create engaging written and multimedia content-such as blogs, videos, podcasts and tutorials while developing code snippets and proof of concepts for the latest technologies
  • Take your knowledge to the stage by representing Dynatrace at technical conferences, webinars and meetups
  • Work closely with technical teams to help craft accurate documentation, release notes and educational resources
  • Help drive awareness and adoption of Dynatrace and help users to be successful using Dynatrace
  • Build and foster deep relationships with the developer community by connecting with them in their spaces-such as social media and forums
  • Travel

What will help you succeed
Minimum requirements
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, etc
  • 5+ years' experience as a software developer
  • 3+ years' experience in developer advocacy or educational role

Preferred requirements
  • Proven track record of content creation and developer advocacy
  • You have at least one example of your own dedicated channel, blog, forum or site with a developer focused audience
  • You have experience working with multimedia content-such as blogs, videos and podcasts
  • Ability to work autonomously and have a track-record for delivering on time
  • At least one project using a common modern development language or framework
  • Knowledge of the Dynatrace product - Nice to have
  • Experience in public speaking and community engagement

Compensation Data
DOE, salary $176K - $220K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
