As a Lead Data Analyst, you will identify, map, integrate, and analyze large sets of data to generate actionable insights. Informed decision-making and strategy development across the organization by using data management and analysis skills. Responsible for analyzing complex data sets, mapping data sources, integrating disparate data systems, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions and strategies.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data mapping strategies. Apply financial services industry and business knowledge to obtain appropriate data sets to solve analytical problems.
- Lead and perform the monthly and quarterly processes involved in delivering validated data to regulators such as NCUA; be responsible for remediating data gaps and quality issues.
- Partner with Data Engineering team, identify, gather, and integrate large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize data analysis techniques such as data cleansing, data mining, and exploratory data analysis, to cleanse, validate, and transform raw data to create structured datasets for analysis.Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and databases to support efficient data analysis.
- Build and execute ad hoc queries by using data platforms to provide data for further analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate data quality, identify data gaps and inconsistencies, and implement necessary measures to improve data accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimal business performance.
- Work with other teams to build and maintain data capabilities, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Bachelors Degree - Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Related - Minimum
- Graduate Degree - Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Related - Preferred
- 5 Years - Data Analyst or related - Minimum
- 6 years - Data Analyst or related
Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $87,100 - $123,000 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
