Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing (i.e. should we pay this claim?), while often overlooked, is the foundation of the entire industry. It’s currently highly manual, involving phone calls, faxes, and gut instinct, costing tens of billions of dollars a year. We can do better.

At Assured, we provide large insurers with the software solutions they need to win in a modern, technology-driven world. From self-service claim-filing software to backend fraud detection, we’re the engine that powers claims processing for some of the largest insurers in the world.

The challenges we face are deep and diverse, from creating digital experiences that provide comfort and clarity to claimants at their most stressed and vulnerable to orchestrating large-scale ML-driven decision-making on billions of dollars of claims payments, life at Assured is dynamic, collaborative, and rewarding.

We are looking for a Principal Creative Producer – an individual contributor who leads creative operations and creative production across the Assured brand. You'll be the connective tissue between strategy and craft: the person who turns roadmaps into shipped work, keeps a high volume of simultaneous projects on track, and makes sure every asset that leaves the team clears our bar.

This role is a hybrid mix of program management, project management, and creative production depending on the phase. Some weeks you're at the 10,000-foot view — building the roadmap, aligning cross-functional partners, etc. Other weeks you're shoulder-to-shoulder with designers and creative developers, obsessing over the final rounds of a launch or event. You'll serve as a strategic partner to our Art Director to scale our systems and processes so the team can keep punching above its weight as Assured grows.

This is a maker's seat for someone with real design taste, sharp instincts on prioritization, and a bias toward shipping.

What You'll Do

🗺️ Own the roadmap – Lead all Brand Design program management, including roadmap development, project scoping, timelines, and resourcing.

🎛️ Run the machine – Manage a high volume of simultaneous projects across surfaces: web, digital, social, brand systems, event design, and sales collateral.

🧱 Scale the system – Partner closely with our Art Director to further scale and evolve Assured's brand design systems, and optimize processes to streamline how work moves through the team. You'll manage the team's operational rhythm, advocate for the AD’s strategic priorities, enforce adherence to AD creative feedback & process directions, and drive alignment so they can focus on creative excellence.

🤝 Connect the org – Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Client Engagement to ensure smooth execution, alignment, and integration of design systems across every customer-facing surface.

🚨 De-risk delivery – Connect silos, socialize changes, anticipate risks, and provide actionable solutions for escalation to Brand and Marketing leadership.

🔍 Guard the craft – Uphold and advocate for design quality with cross-functional teams and vendors;

🤖 Bring AI to the studio – Identify opportunities to expand AI tooling for the Brand Design team, driving automation and efficiency gains, and self-serve brand resources for the broader company.

What You'll Bring

🎨 6+ years as a creative producer, design producer, project manager or design ops manager – at a top creative agency or on an in-house brand, marketing, or product design team.

🖌️ A background in brand, front end development, or marketing design – you've been close enough to the craft to have real opinions on it, and you can run a critique alongside designers.

🧭 Strong strategic acumen for developing complex program roadmaps and cross-functional processes in a fast-paced startup environment.

🤖 AI-driven mentality: Experience implementing AI tooling and automation into a creative workflow, and driving adoption across a team.

📏 Highly detail oriented and excel at simplifying complexity – you offer options and tradeoffs, crisply articulate decisions, and iterate quickly.

🗣️ Experience acting as a force multiplier for creative leadership, you know how to distill complexity, manage up, and handle high-level communication on behalf of leadership.

⚖️ Can balance speed and craft – you know when to ship and when to hold.
