JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and models that support our analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for performance.

How you will Own It:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.

  • Architect and implement data models and semantic layers for use by analytics teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

  • Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.

  • Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices and coding standards.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement proactive solutions.

  • Design and implement effective monitoring capabilities across pipelines and models.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering.

What you’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.

  • Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and data services (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).

  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Composer, DataForm).

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders .

  • Experience within the Google Big Query environment.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

$113,500.00 - $200,800.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
