Principal, ADVentures

The Principal role is a first-of-its-kind position at Analog Devices and is designed for a seasoned individual contributor who is eager to join the newly formed ADVentures team. Founded in 2025, ADVentures (ADV) is a corporate venture capital fund that aims to broaden ADI’s understanding of three key problem spaces: Advanced Systems & Robotics, Climate & Energy, and Human Health.
A major success factor in this role will be your ability to evaluate and manage investments in early-stage startups, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders in engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the research and analysis of disruptive technologies and business models with non-obvious implications for ADI, with the goal of identifying and recommending strategic spaces for ADV to consider investment opportunities
- Proactively build our investment pipeline globally, identifying and sourcing high-potential investment opportunities that are aligned to ADV’s mission and goals
- Build and maintain high-touch relationships with founders, industry subject matter experts, and key stakeholders for nascent problem spaces
- Participate in all aspects of due diligence, including business and market assessment, strategic relevance analysis, and drafting of materials for investment committee review
- Support internal reporting ranging from investment proposals, weekly project reviews, and ADV insights briefs
- Facilitate commercial partnerships between ADV’s portfolio companies and ADI to deliver tangible strategic value and provide ongoing support to help ADV portfolio companies succeed
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with both startup ecosystems and large corporate entities
- Deep intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand technical capabilities, limits, and potential
- Excellent analytical, research, and modeling skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience structuring and negotiating new deals
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of work experience
- MBA preferred; or Masters in a relevant field to one of ADV’s core areas of focus

Shift Type: 1st Shift/DaysThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $131,250 to $196,875.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
