Role Responsibilities
- Perform deep analysis on pricing performance, customer usage patterns, and revenue trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated pricing and revenue models to forecast the impact of pricing changes, promotions, and new product introductions.
- Write and optimize complex queries in SQL and BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Build and automate dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and Google Sheets/Excel to track key performance indicators and communicate findings.
- Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to contribute to pricing strategy and present your recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to ensure Cloudflare's offerings are positioned effectively.
Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)
- 2-4+ years of experience in a quantitative role such as pricing analytics, revenue or business operations, management consulting, or finance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (or a dialect like BigQuery) for data extraction and manipulation, and advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling.
- A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to tell a clear story with data and deliver thorough, actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ownership and initiative, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear insights for a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A growth mindset with a coachable, curious, and positive attitude toward learning and new challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or Engineering.
