JOB OVERVIEW:
This position will be responsible for optimizing Henry Schein pricing strategies and driving revenue growth. This position will be instrumental in implementing, enhancing, and monitoring pricing initiatives across dental, medical, and digital divisions. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Category Management, and Pricing Operations to understand business objectives, analyze market dynamics, and develop data-driven pricing recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of pricing strategies, considering factors such as market competition, cost structures, and customer segmentation to obtain business objectives.
- Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing data, including historical performance, market trends, and competitor pricing to ensure data-driven strategies and to evaluate the impact of different pricing scenarios
- Project implementation: Support pricing projects on implementation and post-launch analysis, including setting project timelines and managing deliverables.
- Project enhancement: Gather and incorporate internal team feedback, customer feedback, and market trends to enhance existing pricing models to ensure their continued effectiveness
- Cross-Function Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Category Management, and Pricing Operations teams to gather input, align on objectives, and ensure effective communication of pricing changes and expected outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of pricing initiatives. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on key trends and present actionable insights for leadership.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor market pricing trends and identify opportunities to adjust our pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilizing Internal Tools: Develop a strong understanding of our internal pricing software
- Ad-hoc Report: Creating ad-hoc reports on special projects on pricing-related initiatives as needed.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Advanced Excel Proficiency
- Experience in data visualization with PowerBI
- Understanding of key business metrics and strong business acumen
- Ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights
- Ability to simplify complex data
- Proactive and innovative mindset to develop creative solutions
- Preferred experience with Advanced Excel features (VBA)
- Preferred proficiency in SQL

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 2 to 4 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
