Pricing Analyst (Contract – 6 Months) Local Candidates Only
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst for a 6-month contract role (with potential for full-time conversion) to support core pricing operations. This role will focus on analyzing the financial impact of pricing initiatives and managing product price books. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and comfortable working with large datasets to drive actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Price Change Analytics & KPI Tracking
- Track and measure the revenue and margin impact of price change initiatives
- Develop and maintain reporting on pricing performance and key metrics
- Analyze price realization, margin trends, and the effectiveness of price adjustments
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve pricing outcomes
- Support post-implementation reviews of pricing programs
Price Book Portfolio Management
- Create, maintain, and manage pricing models across multiple product portfolios
- Ensure price lists are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with current pricing strategies
- Support updates to pricing structures, including list prices, discount frameworks, and product configurations
- Validate pricing data consistency across systems and tools
- Assist in organizing and standardizing pricing structures across product lines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or 2+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or data analytics
- Advanced Excel skills (data modeling, lookups, pivot tables required)
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage structured data sets
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with price lists or product portfolios
- Familiarity with margin analysis and pricing performance metrics
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to present data clearly
Pay Range
MA: $30.04 -$39.81/hour
