Implementation Consultant
Customer Acceleration Group

Quickbase

Position Overview:

The Customer Acceleration Group (CAG) partners with the customer's leadership and technical teams to conceptualize and scope use cases, map out phases and architecture, and begin building applications toward production.

As an Implementation Consultant, you will work directly on those application(s) with prospects and customers, with the goal of getting those applications to value as soon as possible.

This role is in the Presales department, and you'll partner with the Solution Consultant, Account Executive, and other teammates to ensure the transition to CAG is as seamless as possible. When appropriate, you'll demonstrate the power of our platform for those would-be builders and non-developer personas who want to learn by building transparently with them and/or assigning homework and coaching them. Once the customer's first app begins to provide value, you'll begin the hand-off processes to downstream teams (Customer Success, Enablement Services, Professional Services, Partners, or some combination).

You have a combination of technical acumen and emotional intelligence to create a truly exceptional experience for your customers. You synthesize your observations into insights that our product team can act on. Although you are detail-oriented, you also maintain a broader perspective of the longer-term goals you are trying to achieve. You provide Quickbase expertise and technical insights during conversations with prospective, new, and sometimes existing customers.

You lead the planning and development of technical solutions to solve moderate to complex business problems. In addition to a strong technical background, you have a consultative mindset by showing high levels of curiosity about customers, their objectives, and leveraging all information sources to drive toward solutions.

Responsibilities:

Increase time to value: accelerate the customer's path to value by coaching them through process ambiguity, decision fatigue, and how to get from current state to future state.

Keep an eye on success metrics to guide build the collective team toward the customer's desired value (solve the problems they're trying to solve with Quickbase).

When there are willing builders, enable them to build in a variety of ways: one-on-one coaching sessions, assigning and checking up on homework, and providing tools and resources they need to be successful Quickbase builders.

Sales-minded development: work collaboratively with Account Executives and other teammates to grow value in strategic new accounts as quickly as possible.

Help to build and deploy applications at all stages of the sales cycle to create leverage in our deal for new businesses and new groups.

Learn: seek to understand a customer's business and uncover new opportunities for Quickbase to add value to our customers

Be Exceptional: provide our customers with an exceptional first experience with Quickbase.

Enable the customer's success: help customers break through the stickiest barriers with the product.

Ensure best practices: work with key customer stakeholders to ensure Quickbase is implemented in the optimal manner within the customer IT landscape (where applicable).

Have a good understanding of our Product and Service offerings in order to be helpful for most inquiries and know how to find answers to deeper questions when they come up.
