The Impact of a Solution Advisor at Coupa:
The Solutions Advisor (Pre-Sales) is a lead functional business partner of Sales Managers. The Solutions Consultant supports Coupa’s business and revenue goals by providing high-quality business and functional presentations and demonstrations. They will also work across Coupa’s operations to drive the creation and maintenance of field-related material to be used in the sales process to use technology as a differentiator for Coupa in the market.
This team focuses on mid-market accounts for new business and growth/renewals.
What you will do:
- Provide technical and functional expertise throughout the sales process, including RFP assistance, demos, workshops, and document creation.
- Demonstrate Coupa’s CSM capabilities to address and exceed business needs, with strong product and integration knowledge.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering valuable insights to sales teams and prospects.
- Deliver platform demonstrations, IT workshops, training sessions, and presentations to key stakeholders.
- Manage accounts and support growth of Coupa as a cloud management leader, with up to 25% travel.
What you will bring to Coupa:
- 3+ years’ experience in systems applications selling/implementation, ideally with Source-to-Pay, eProcurement, Expense Management, or SaaS.
- Strong background with solutions like Ariba, Ivalua, Concur, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Skilled in configuring, customizing, and delivering compelling software demos and presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Proven ability to lead discovery sessions, map requirements to functionality, and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise in spend management with a track record of mentoring, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
The estimated pay range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 + eligibility for commission with an estimated pay mix of 72/28
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
