Pre-Sales Solution Engineers are responsible for assisting customers in identifying business problems that can be addressed by implementing CSG’s solutions. They work closely with other Sales staff to ensure the customer understands how our products can help them achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills. This position requires exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines while balancing multiple projects at once.
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer who will:
- Assist sales teams in identifying customer needs and requirements for service solutions
- Conduct presentations of solution functionality and answer questions regarding the value proposition
- Provide product demonstrations and proof of concepts to demonstrate the value proposition
- Work directly with customers to identify business processes and challenges related to those processes
- Develop customized workflows based on industry best practices and client-specific requirements
- Create business cases outlining the cost savings associated with implementing CSG’s services
- Support implementation of CSG’s service offerings once sold
- Collaborate with pre-sales technical support engineers to develop customized solutions tailored to each customer’s unique needs
- Hands-on configuration and build of technical demonstration assets. Skills must include JSON, XML, Web Services, and cloud technologies
- Ability to bridge discussions between technical and business stakeholders
- Develop and present value-based messages with representative technical assets specific to the client's needs discovered in the opportunity development

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
- 2 years of experience with Financial services or the Healthcare industry
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated individual who works well independently as well as part of a team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$115,592.71-$184,949.04This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
