You’ll work directly with potential customers to understand their manufacturing challenges, demonstrate how TrakSYS can meet their specific needs, and design tailored solutions that deliver measurable impact. You’ll also provide technical expertise in crafting compelling demos, designing proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations, and ensuring technical feasibility.

Responsibilities
Technical Sales Leadership:

  • Work alongside the sales team throughout the sales cycle to identify opportunities and qualify leads.

Product Demonstrations:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality product demonstrations tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Showcase how TrakSYS integrates across the four key manufacturing technology layers: Machine, PLC, SCADA, and ERP.

Solution Design & Customization:

  • Analyze customer manufacturing processes and challenges, such as production efficiency, quality control, inventory management, and maintenance.
  • Design detailed TrakSYS solutions that integrate seamlessly into their existing systems and provide end-to-end visibility and control.

Proof of Concept (PoC) Development:

  • Lead the development of PoCs to validate TrakSYS's feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Build custom demo environments using your technical expertise in SQL and C# to simulate real-world scenarios and meet specific customer requirements.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:

  • Work with product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, ensuring continuous product improvement.
  • Assist in shaping the future direction of the TrakSYS platform by sharing insights from your engagements.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the trusted technical advisor for key stakeholders throughout the sales and implementation process.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships that drive customer success and product adoption.

Required Qualifications
Technical Experience:

  • Strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and a deep understanding of the technology layers that support manufacturing, including PLC, SCADA, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience building complex queries to support demos and PoCs.
  • Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language for customizing solutions and integrations.

Sales Collaboration:

  • Experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales Engineer role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial software environment.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with sales teams to manage customer discovery, qualify opportunities, and successfully close deals.

Communication and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on designing scalable and effective solutions that align with customer needs.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with common manufacturing challenges, such as production optimization, quality management, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
