You will collaborate directly with sales, product, and delivery teams to understand prospect needs, architect solutions, deliver compelling demonstrations, and support the full sales cycle through to handoff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions to deeply understand client business requirements, technical constraints, and priorities, then design bespoke Google Cloud-based solutions focused on Data, AI, and Agentic capabilities (e.g., Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery, Looker, Dataflow, agentic workflows).
- Deliver high-impact, tailored product demonstrations that highlight features and value aligned to the client's industry challenges and use cases.
- Partner with sales and delivery to develop detailed proposals, including solution architecture diagrams, scope of work, level-of-effort estimates, implementation timelines, and Statements of Work.
- Provide expert technical guidance to clients on Google Cloud capabilities, integration approaches, deployment best practices, and security/compliance considerations in data and AI contexts.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders, addressing questions and managing expectations throughout the sales process.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, craft compelling technical sections, and present solutions to influence purchasing decisions.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory factors in priority sectors to effectively position Egen's Google Cloud solutions.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth pre-sales to post-sales transitions, including contributing to project scoping, risk assessment, and delivery mobilization by transferring key client expectations and success criteria.
- Represent Egen as a subject matter expert in client workshops, webinars, and industry forums.
Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, solutions consulting, or technical sales support roles, ideally within cloud services, data/AI consulting, or systems integration.
- Hands-on expertise architecting solutions on Google Cloud, with strong depth in Data and AI services (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini, Looker, Dataflow, agentic/AI agent technologies)
- Proven ability to develop complex proposals, including detailed level-of-effort estimates, architecture diagrams (Visio/Lucidchart/etc.), and Statements of Work for custom development and implementation projects.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills; ability to translate technical complexity into clear, business-oriented narratives for executive and technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote/hybrid environment; proactive, self-motivated, and organized across multiple deals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with priority industries Egen serves: Communications/Media/Technology, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Public Sector, Retail/Consumer Goods, Financial Services, Manufacturing.
