Title Power Platform Engineer
Location Virtual, home-based office with up to 30% travel
Description
As a Power Platform Engineer, you will design, develop, and support Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions across both Delivery and Managed Services projects.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of client engagements—ranging from new implementations to ongoing client support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support technical customizations for clients utilizing Power Automate Flows, C# plugins, JavaScript, Dual Write, and Power Fx
- Collaborate with clients to define and document technical requirements and solution designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Dataverse and Dynamics CE environments
- Build, test, and deploy data migrations and integrations between Power Platform and external systems
- Support upgrade cycles and implement best practices for solution maintenance and scalability
- Delegate and manage development tasks across onshore and offshore resources
- Ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and timeline commitments
- Follow established standards, methodologies, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) processes
- Optimize utilization through effective time management and project prioritization
- Continue professional development through annual training goals and certifications
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience developing Power Automate Flows
- 3+ years’ experience developing C# plugins and JavaScript for Dataverse applications
- 3+ years’ experience developing custom Model-Driven and Canvas apps on Dataverse
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse & Dynamics CE development tools: Visual Studio, XRM Toolbox, Power Platform CLI, VS Code, Azure Pipelines
- Knowledge of relational databases, object-oriented design, and data structures
- Familiarity with one or more of the following: ASP.NET, SSIS, Web Services, WCF, MVC, SQL, SSRS, LINQ, HTML, Ajax, JQuery, CSS, XML, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions
- Strong understanding of Dataverse solutioning and ALM best practices
- Experience implementing and supporting Power Apps Portals / Power Pages
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 or PL-100
- 2+ years developing custom PCF components
- Experience integrating Dynamics CE & Dynamics F&O using Microsoft Dual Write
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O implementations
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting role
