About the Role
Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team supporting a critical federal client solution. In this remote role, you will primarily work within Microsoft Power Platform Model-Driven Apps, focusing on the FsAST solution and specifically enhancing and maintaining the PR Mobility module. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing business process automation and user experience features that support large-scale request processing and operational visibility for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Model-Driven Applications within the FsAST solution, with primary focus on the PR Mobility module.
- Design and build standalone modules incorporating Power Automate workflows to streamline request processing and automation.
- Implement custom ribbon functionality using Ribbon Workbench to improve user interaction and productivity within the application.
- Develop bulk upload capabilities allowing users to submit requests individually or at scale, with fully integrated workflow processing.
- Leverage SQL for data integration between Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, and backend systems.
- Build, publish, and maintain Power BI reports to provide operational visibility, deploying them to shared workspaces for stakeholder access.
- Manage the full solution lifecycle across Development, Test, and Production environments, including deployments, versioning, and change management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to applications, data, workflows, and performance to ensure high system reliability.
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher) is mandatory.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong experience with Ribbon Workbench for custom ribbon development.
- Proven ability to design and implement Power Automate workflows for complex business process automation.
- Experience developing bulk upload/import functionality with integrated workflow processing.
- Solid understanding of SQL for data integration and manipulation within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience building and publishing Power BI reports and dashboards for operational reporting.
- Strong knowledge of solution management best practices, including ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), deployments across Dev/Test/Prod environments, and version control.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve end-to-end issues in Model-Driven Apps, workflows, and data layers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-100, or PL-200).
- Prior experience supporting federal government or defense-related solutions.
- Familiarity with Dataverse and advanced Power Platform customization techniques.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for solution lifecycle management.
