Job Description:

Broadcom is seeking a Portfolio Services Engineer to develop and scale post-sales technical adoption, operational best practices, and lifecycle success assets for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). This role focuses on enabling Technical Adoption Managers and Partners with high-quality guidance that accelerates customer onboarding, consumption, and long-term operational maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop adoption frameworks, onboarding playbooks, operational runbooks, and lifecycle best-practice documentation for VCF.
  • Identify customer post-sales needs and translate them into scalable, repeatable TAM delivery assets.
  • Improve customer value realization and VCF consumption by enhancing TAM guidance and delivery materials.
  • Partner with product engineering, support, services engineering, and TAM leadership to align adoption content with product direction.
  • Continuously measure and refine the effectiveness of adoption and lifecycle resources.
  • Support global TAM teams and Expert Advantage Partners with technical enablement resources and success-focused materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience; Master’s with 10+ years; or PhD with 7+ years.
  • Strong technical understanding of private cloud infrastructure and operational lifecycle management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in customer success, post-sales engineering, or technical adoption roles preferred.

This role sits within Broadcom’s VCF Portfolio Services Engineering organization, a group dedicated to improving customer outcomes through high-quality technical adoption guidance. The team values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, with leadership experienced in driving technology-led growth across software and services.

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits 

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,900  -  $171,000

 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
